White Background Option for the Asset View

Picflow has a clean, white interface. Until someone clicks on an image to see it larger, when it is now displayed against a dark background, destroying the effect. Why? At the very least, make it a gallery setting option to maintain the white background. The switch to the dark one feels outdated and clunky.
