Simple password protected galley for my clients.

I'm totally confused on how your galleries work. I want to send a simple gallery, password protected to my clients. When I do a test email it tells people I invited them to edit the gallery. I just want my clients to view proofs and be able to favorite the ones they want.

Is this not the product for this application?

Can I set it up that it takes them to the lead page of their gallery, they can enter the password and gain access?
