Show Favorite Option on Hover in Grid View

The client experience of clicking into each photo to Favorite it, then navigating to the upper left corner to click back to the thumbnails has a lot of friction. I'd like my clients to be able to mark their favorites right on the grid view, so they only have to enlarge an image if they need to see more details.
