The update removed the ability to see sample images of what is in the galleries, and it has made it much more difficult to see what types of images are in each gallery at a glance. Can the image preview option be brought back?

I have attached three screenshots.
First image shows two galleries created at different dates. The most recent one is on top. Both galleries have images. One of them does show preview image instead shows a placeholder.
Once the galleries are opened, the new one does not show images but shows some kind of placeholder. Old gallery shows image preview just fine.
One noticeable difference is that new images don’t show image meta information like lens and camera information.
Same behavior reproduced using mobile device and reported by other people.

Okay, if this is still happening now, please create a bug report. It only should look like this if there is an issue with the images.
