Filter for Main & Sub-Galleries

I have made a main gallery with multiple sub-galleries for a larger project. The client approves pictures in each gallery. But we can't filter all the pictures that are favourite, only per sub-gallery. It would be great functionality if we could filter on main gallery including the subs. So everything together.
