Extra grid layout features

When handling a mix of portrait and landscape photos, or photos with varying dimensions, the grid layout can look quite disorganized.

I would love to see an option similar to Apple iCloud Photos galleries, where you can choose to display the thumbnails as cropped squares. This would create a more aesthetically pleasing layout. A simple button would let a user switch back to the original full aspect ratio thumbnails if desired.

Another excellent feature would be the ability to highlight one or multiple images within a single media gallery, allowing them to be displayed larger and stand out within the gallery grid. For instance, these highlighted images could be shown at double the size or even occupy an entire row.
