Don't require Name and Email
Many people find it uncomfortable to give their name and email on an external website. When it comes to voting as favorite images, there should be an option that by putting only the password that you indicate to the client, he can select the images as favorites.

Providing name and email has been made optional.

I agree. Especially the email address is of concern to some. If supplying the email address could be made optional, I think it would already solve most concerns.
