Thanks, works great. It would be good to have folders that galleries then sync to too at some point.

Russell Burton: Yes and a synchronisation would be helpful like this

Ken Ronny Thomassen
It´s a long time since this was posted. How is the progress for this feature?
Michel Luarasi
Ken Ronny Thomassen: You're right. We posted this before Picflow launched, and it gets pushed back by other tasks. This month we'll release team-related features and we'll continue to work on watermarking, then we feel that video support will have a bigger impact still than this. After that we might tackle it!
Dave Bullen
Michel Luarasi: umm. not sure why this isn't considered a priority. I wish there was api access or developer access. i'd just write it myself.
Kris Anderson
I don't know if you want to consider this, but for my workflow I have one LR catalog per job (so all the files for a job live together, are named similarly, and can be archived/moved together). Will the plugin allow synchronisation with multiple LR catalogs? Or would it need one shared LR catalog?
Michel Luarasi
Kris Anderson: It looks like the plugin won't be connected to a catalog. We're planning to add Picflow to the "Publish Services" section in Lightroom. There's a limitation though with syncing, Lightroom seems to only allow to push things out.
Kris Anderson
Michel Luarasi: Fair enough! It's a shame there is no way to suck the approved/favourited stuff back in.
Kris Anderson
Michel Luarasi: The use case I'm thinking of is - a visitor has Approved a bunch of images, I just want to find those quickly and easily in my LR catalog so I can mark them. It's a horrible hack, but would it be valuable to let the user copy a string of filenames to the clipboard so they can use it to search text in the filter at the top of the grid view? (It's pretty clunky. :/ )
Kris Anderson
Hey Michel Luarasi - the function to copy filenames to the clipboard (in Lightroom, Capture One, mac/windows) format is AWESOME!!! It's exactly what I wanted. I didn't realise it was there, and it's already saved me so much time!! Thank you!!
Dave Bullen
Michel Luarasi: im pretty sure syncing back in can be done by creating collections of the selected images. Currently working on writing this into my custom LR plug-in. I would just need access to pull the list of selected images.
Christopher Parkes
Kris Anderson: I know PIc-Time have a pull in for client selects on their plugin, so it is doable in some form
Kris Anderson
Since this was raised, I've kind of settled on a workflow that works for me without a plugin, and part of it is relying on exporting images and using LR/Mogrify to watermark with a few things along the way.
Synchronising will be harder for me, because I use different LR catalogs for each job, but that's a me-problem, not a PicFlow problem :)
