Export Comments as TXT or CSV

When processing comments on the timeline of a video I would like to export the comments as text-file or data (CSV). In that way I can archive and print them.

Way to download Comments

Need a solution to download the comments left on videos so it can be put into Excel sorted etc and worked on.

A simple export for comments along with file names would be ideal.

I'd also suggest an option to export a PDF with thumbnails (including annnotation overlay) on the left and comments on the right. That way when editing I could have a punch list pulled up on my second monitor to guide my work.

Josh Latham Thanks for this request. We currently do have an export filenames feature but without comments. Could you elaborate on what you're trying to achieve? Do you want to print it or have a CSV? Thanks again.

Michel Luarasi: Ideally a text document, but a CSV would also work. I'm looking for a digest of the comments so that I can easily pass on the information to subcontractors. I often use external folks that don't have access to some of our platforms. I'd like to be able to attach the "digest" to tasks in our task manager platforms for those externals to be able to review the comments and continue their work. The only way to currently achieve this requires a lot of copy and pasting.

Josh Latham: Ok, understood. It sounds like this would still be a manual export. Would it help if there was an automated process, like a Zapier integration?
Josh Latham
Michel Luarasi: I think the manual export would be ideal for my workflow. I think it'd allow me flexibly as to which platform I can add the digest; Asana could be automated with Zapier - maybe, it's tough to get task specific - but Fiverr and other service based platforms I'd still need a document.

Josh Latham: Alright, we'll look into it and update you here soon.
