Downloads only for approved customers

As a photo press agency, I want my clients to be able to download files, but not just anyone. In short, I would like a customer to be able to log in to your site, after which he/she will be given the option to download while a visitor without a login does not have that.
Of course it would also be nice if you could see from 1 overview who downloaded which photo and when.

Hi,
I REALLY need it: I would like to have the ability to set that only me and approved (!) team members can download the full resolution images while all others will have the options as they are today (if marked of course)
I need to control WHO is authorized to download the full (original) resolution download

As a wedding photographer looking for a cheaper alternative to passgallery, it is ESSENTIAL, that you can have a public gallery without download, and then you can send invites to the clients so only they can download. Even better if the client is allowed to send out invites with download to familly.

I would also love to see downloads linked to email addresses:
Only allow downloads for approved email addresses (so a user requests a download link, which I can approve or ignore)
Or anyone can download without approval, but their email address will have to be verified email address (so I know exactly who is downloading what, while excluding fake email addresses).

Hi René, this is a feature we're planning to built. Visitors would still be able to see the download button, but only emails you've added before as "allowed emails" will be able to download.
