Add "Find Gallery" event for Zapier
Studio GBQ
First of all, I'd like to give a HUGE shoutout to whoever took my last suggestion and implemented it. Thank you!! Being able to automate the text for a gallery description is a huge quality of life update.
With that said, I did find one more optimization for automations that I somehow missed last time (probably because I didn't really utilize Picflow in Zapier due to previous limitations).
Currently, there is no way to allow Zapier to search for a specific gallery in Picflow. This is a very common step in Zapier, and many other automations use it. For example, I can tell Zapier to find a spefific folder in google drive. Then, I can decide to grab the link to that google folder, and send that information somewhere else.
So here is what the workflow should look like on the user (my) end:
- I submit a form that triggers the automation. I include the title of the gallery, the gallery description, and the client's email.
- this form triggers Zapier. Zapier creates the gallery with the input title and description (already possible)
- then, Zapier finds the gallery I just created, and all of its relevant info. (Name, description, URL, etc)
- a step to create an email inserts the link to that gallery, and sends them a custom message that contains the link to their gallery. I can also store this URL internally in a database for queries and easy referencing.
Currently, there is no way to automate this. I need to manually go in and find the correct gallery (out of many) and then copy/paste that link into the form/database. As you can imagine, this only adds room for error. Being able to sumbit a simple form that can correlate matching fields would be fansatic here.
Thanks again!
